Commonly asked questions:

(Q) What are the fenders made out of?
(A) Both front and rear fenders are made from a high quality fiberglass composite with cloth structural reinforcement.

(Q) Do the rear Wide body fender replace the stock rear quarter panels?
(A) The rear fenders are overlays that attach on over the stock panels.  The stock quarter panels are a structural part of the car and would require an extensive amount of work to every be removed.

(Q) How much weight is saved with replacing the stock fenders?
(A) The front fenders save approximately. 2-3 pounds per side.  Since you have to add the rear fenders, each side adds about 5-6 pounds.

(Q) How much will the install cost?
(A) As with any service price will vary with each place you go.  We recommend just stopping in to one of your local shops and have them give you a quote.

(Q) What do you do about the stock location of the fuel door, since the overlays cover it up?
(A) We recommend installing a Sparco fuel door on the top part of the fender, combined with the Sparco fuel neck.
- Sparco Gas cap part #SP027004B

- Sparco fuel neck part #SP
027009.
- Please see picture A-1&2 for a reference

(Q) How do the fenders attach to the car?
(A) The front fenders are bolt on fenders.  They come with the holes scribed and will need to be drilled out.  The rear fenders attach onto the back of the car by bonding them to the rear quarter panels.  We have found the best combination of attaching is by popriviting around the outside of the fender, and using a metal to fiberglass adhesive to bond them on permanently.
